The sea freight continued increase
Because the epidemic is widespread and global, the number of cargo ships has decreased.
In March and April 2020, there is no indication that 2020 may become a strong year for the container industry. However, the freight rate in the Pacific region is at an all-time high, and shipping companies are upgrading their expectations for the whole year of 2020. Why wait until a global epidemic, and the whole industry really starts to make money?
This sounds like a year when the global economy is about to grow vigorously. The demand for container transportation from Rotterdam to Shanghai or from Singapore to long beach is booming, and the shipping front desk staff can hardly keep up with the needs of customers. But in fact, the COVID-19 pandemic has stopped some countries and major city, and caused massive layoffs. Thousands of shipyards, shipping companies and suppliers were forced to return home, and the crew on board could not be replaced.
Until now2021, sea freight is still rising, and a large number of ships are on duty. Both customers and us ,costs are increasing. Hope we can get through the difficulties as soon as possible.And thanks all my customers.
